The refurbishment and development of a prominent site in Kibworth, Leicestershire.

The existing former Rose and Crown public house was comprehensively refurbished and converted into a collection of mews-cottages and apartments. The rest of the site was used to create an attractive courtyard development of two and three bedroom cottages, using a sympathetic, gently modernised vernacular style. The result is a housing development with an unusually strong sense of place and community, sensitively set within the existing context.
