A one-off “paragraph 84” house in the Leicestershire open countryside.
In a significant victory for new rural development, Field House, a new isolated family home in the Leicestershire open countryside, has been approved by Blaby District Council securing consent under Paragraph 84 of the NPPF.
Embedded in the landscape, the scheme draws on ideas of walled secret gardens, sculptural manipulation of familiar agricultural forms and nature. The landscaping incorporates extensive rewilding and biodiversity while the house utilises the very latest renewable energy systems and ideas for an entirely off-grid solution. These various ideas are resolved into a thoughtful, picturesque proposal.
These types of projects are fascinating and drive us to comprehensively analyse, consider and research for the very best design solutions.
